About Me
Welcome to my website! I’m Monique Barrett and I am a 25 year old queer artist with AuDHD and Schizoaffective Disorder. Creating art has always been my biggest passion, and is incredibly important to me and my mental health. You can learn about me by experiencing my creations, whether that be through visual art, videos, writing or other content. Please join me in my art journey, as I hope to grow in every way for the rest of my life.

Artist
Traditional art
Acrylic paint on canvas is my greatest love, but I also like to experiment with other mediums such as watercolour, pencil, markers, oil pastels and more. I mainly love to create faces, but I also sometimes explore other themes such as still life.
Digital art
My biggest interest in digital art is the creation of my comic Pluck! It is currently a work in progress, but I do share some of my progress on Ko-fi. I also like to do other illustrative work on Procreate.
Video
I’ve always loved scripting, performing, filming and editing videos ever since I was a child, and I am excited to explore this further. I have an art and gaming YouTube, as well as a twitch account.
Writing
Another passion of mine is writing, and I am currently working on my first draft for my heART Project’s book, which is about mental health and art as therapy. I also sometimes like to write blog pieces.
